Riding Lessons
For adults and children of all ages and abilities, we offer excellent instruction with a variety of disciplines in a safe, fun, and friendly environment. Our team of instructors and school horses are very well qualified and motivated to educate students from beginners to the advanced. We teach from the ground up, starting with safety, horse behavior, ground handling, grooming, horse care, tack and equipment. Then, as we move on, students learn how to acquire a proper solid foundation of riding skills. We strive to educate how students can achieve harmony with the horse. Then, as students progress, they have options of choosing more specific disciplines of riding.
We also offer training and opportunities for riders to ride at various show levels. FEC has its own series of schooling shows, here at our facility. We also take students to away shows as well. School horses are available for students to ride for both home and away shows. Lessons are offered daily.
New students may borrow a riding helmet for their first lesson, but need to have their own riding gear from that point on. Gear includes: ASTM / SEI approved helmet for riding, riding gloves, riding boots, and long pants, schooling tights, jods, or breeches. Other types of helmets and gear are not allowed. This is for the riders' safety. We reserve the right to charge for lessons that we do not receive at least 24 hours cancellation. Lesson packages can be used by more than one individual in a family. Lessons must be paid for before or at the time of the lesson. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time. Late arrivals will not ensure that a student will receive the full lesson time, as this can disrupt the schedule for others. Pre - paid lessons and lesson packages are non refundable and non transferrable for any other service offered by FEC. Pre - paid lessons and lesson packages are good for 1 year from the date of purchase.

PONIES AND PARENTS INTRO CLASS
DATES AND TIMES
Saturday, January 21st at 1 p.m.
Weather permitting
Come learn the basics of horsemanship with your children, in a relaxed and fun learning environment! Have your own pony for an hour, and get to know what ponies are all about! Learn about pony behavior, safety, diet, grooming, equipment, movement, and get a pony ride during class. This is not a riding lesson, so most of the class time will be handling the ponies on the ground. This class is geared towards children who would like to experience ponies and horses, but may be too young to start riding lessons. This is an excellent way to introduce your children (and parents, too) into the equestrian world.
Benefits to this type of class:
Gain knowledge about horses
Relaxed, non intimidating
Not costly
Parent / Child / Family involvement
Fun
